We stayed at the Moana Surfrider in January 2015. As the other reviews mention the rooms in the main hotel are rather small, however, we did not spend much time in the room as we always touring, hanging at the pool/beach or out for a...เพิ่มเติม
This was our second time here and we enjoyed our stay both times.
Service was friendly, obliging and efficient. Big smiles and any problems sorted out with the same.
We like the location best. We were with three families with teenagers and there's lots to...เพิ่มเติม
This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in the tower wing on the 19th floor. Fantastic view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. A majority of the hotels in Honolulu are extremely dated, but they have kept Moana Surfrider in amazing condition. Our room was...เพิ่มเติม
Purchased 8 day package with air, hotel & car (included parking). Once arrived I discovered no self parking available at hotel, forced to do valet. Most hotels it is common to pay a one time valet and then only parking fee for duration of stay. This hotel forces valet fee of 45.00 a day for each day of stay. Car costs less on rental. Very un-fair! If known in advance I would of rejected rental car and relied on Uber. Hotel does not inform parking arrangement on Web Site.
We stayed in March. There is a resort fee of $30 per day. Self parking across the street is included in this fee. The fee also includes craft classes, hula lessons and other amenities, but it is not optional.
Are there included resort activities like at the Hyatt regency (eg. hula lessons, stringing a lei etc)?
And i'm told the standard rooms are too smaller (2 adults needing a bed each). Which room would you need to upgrade to so it's spacious?

Not sure about the activities but we changed from an ocean front room in the "Historic Banyan Section " of the hotel as the rooms were ridiculously small and the balcony so narrow it was unusable to a Tower Ocean Front I think it was called, MUCH bigger , lovely large deck , dining table and lounge area , very nice.
Hi, EmsTracey. What would you like to know about this accommodation? So do the tower partial ocean views interconnect? Was that the room you had?
