I stayed at the Victoria for 3 nights in August as I was photographing a wedding at the Elixir Shore Club on the island. For my stay, I would rate the hotel 4 out of 5, but if I was recommending this hotel for a holiday I would have to say 3 out of 5. The staff on reception were very good, friendly and helpful. During my stay I was all inclusive, but the bar and food prices are very reasonable. Some staff at the bar could have been a little friendlier at times but generally service was good and there was a wide range of food and drinks available on the all inclusive. WIFI was free and worked pretty well throughout the entire hotel and around the pool area which was a bonus (especially as I was working whilst out in Ibiza). I stayed in a single room, which was well equipped and comfortable. The room for the price was excellent and the safe was large enough to store 2 DSLR cameras and my lenses. Unlike the rest of the world, Spain is still convinced it should be charging for safes in rooms, but at €2.50 a day it wasn't expensive. The bed was a single, but perfectly comfortable and there was always hot water for a shower. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, it's certainly aimed more at a European clientele with a lot of cold meats, which personally I'm not crazy about for breakfast. A few pancakes or waffles wouldn't go a miss. Lunch on the all inclusive included the European food of holidays, the ham and cheese toastie alongside burgers and hot dogs. All decent enough fare and generous portions. The evening meal was very hit and miss. I ate there on 2 of the 3 nights and the first night was obviously the left over's 're-hashed' night with no live chef on the cooking station and range of average options at best. On my last night the live chef station was open with fresh chicken, pork and fish being prepared to order. This was much better and I would recommend this option be present every night and the re-hash night get ditched. The pool area is one of the main reasons why I cannot give the hotel over 3 stars for a holiday as it remains in the shade until 1.30pm every day. It's quite small and there are not many loungers around. The beach is nearby and is very pleasant but otherwise there's not much to see and do near the hotel. Taxi drivers told us that it wasn't really in Talamanca, more just outside the town, so you're not going to have lots to do on the doorstep. However, overall this is a nice little hotel with plenty going for it if you're after a cheap week and you're happy ot grab a taxi into Ibiza Town for some nightlife, or you're happy with a quieter hotel and area. Food is hit and miss and I would not go all inclusive for a week based on my limited experience but service overall was good and the room I stayed in was very good. It's a shame about the pool area but for my business trip it was a 4/5, for a holiday I would say 3/5.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. I would recommend hiring a car for staying in Talamancia though as its a 30/40 min walk to Ibiza Town and there's not much in Talamancia.

Hi, I stayed at this hotel for 6 night week with my best friend (we're 2 ladies aged 34) I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly (except the night receptionist who was a bit miserable). We wanted to stay away from the hustle bustle and so found this hotel to have exactly that but when we wanted the night life we would get 2 buses (about 30-45 mins journey) into San Antonio or the one bus (20 mins) into Ibiza port where there are some very nice bars, shops and restaurants. Honestly, it sounds like a long travel time but by the time we got onto the bus and blinked we were in the town centre. The taxi back to the hotel from San Antonio costs about 25 euros and so we only did this twice . .and one night we left S.Antonio so late that we were able to get the bus back too :-) The beach is 3 mins walk and is very very beautiful. It is long enough that if you want to be in complete peace and quiet this is possible. The beach loungers cost 5 euros to hire and you can get food and drinks brought out to you with a 4 euro surcharge but as we frequently used the beach on the same stretch the bar guy waived the 4 euros after the 2nd day. All in all I would definitely stay at this hotel again as it was clean, the rooms were fine (good clean bathroom) breakfast was good and we loved the location. My only negative comment would be (and it's quite minor) that the hotel had no room service or kettle in the rooms. So, if I wanted a cup of tea, I would have to go down to the bar which really wasn't much of a chore. It was just after getting back to the hotel at some ungodly hour and wanting a cuppa I couldn't get one even though I had brought my own tea bags :-(
