Here is an image of the "Cock and Bottle" when it was called "The Swan" and the street in which it is located was called Norfolk Road, (still painted on the brick wall to the upper right). This image was taken around 1930 when my great grand father, Mr, W.G. Skinner and his wife Anni Elizabeth Skinner, (a French Canadian immigrant from Montreal, Canada), owned the pub and their four children lived there.
