  • The distinctive green and white Star Ferries have been shuttling back and forth across the harbour for over 100 years. Each one has a different ‘Star’ name. The story goes that the very first 4 ferries were named ‘Morning Star’, ‘Evening Star’, ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Guiding Star’, after the line in Tennyson’s poem Crossing the Bar…. “Sunset and evening star, and one clear call for me”
