I am Thupten Gyatso, the tour operator of the Tibetan Encounter Day Tours. I am the only tour guide for my company. The reason I said this to you because it seems that you went with someone who doesn't work in my company. My tour is basically an educational and Tibetan cultural tour. That means, I never encourage any of my guests to buy any thing from our Tibetan people living in the Tibetan settlements. Also I tell all my guests no need to donate in the Tibetan settlements as well. If you don't believe me please write to any of my previous guests who has written review for my tour.

Therefore, it seems that someone has taken you to the Tibetan settlements using my company name. Also through reading your review head line, it seems that someone has taken you to the Tibetan settlements during our Tibetan New Year. If that is true then you went with someone other than me. Because during our Tibetan New Year, I never run my tours because every Tibetan schools, medical health clinic, monasteries, carpet workshop etc are closed. Therefore, there is no reason to take guests to the Tibetan Settlements during the Tibetan New Year.

If you don't mind, I would like to ask you some questions regarding the booking of my tours. 1) Did you send us a inquiring mail about our tours before you confirm our tour? 2) Did you visit our office in Lakeside to get more informations about our tours? 3) Who is the name of your guide? I am sorry to ask you these questions because I usually get inquiries about my tours before they confirm our tours. Also there are some FIT guests who comes to our office directly and we always give them short briefing about our tours before they decide about our tours. We always make sure that all our guests understand our different tours and give them a time to decide. Therefore we never push any of our guests to do our tour because it is not a commercial business. If you don't believe me, why not you read all my previous guests review. You will never find any review where my guests were push or encourage to buy anythings from our Tibetan people.

Finally, can you please tell me the name of a person who has taken you to the Tibetan settlements using my company name during the Tibetan New Year? It would be a big help if you could tell me his name and send me his picture. This is a serious matter for me and my business for future. If you could help me, I would highly appreciate your help.
