First of all, may I thank you for staying at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and for going to the trouble of sharing with me your stay experience.
I am concerned to learn that you were disappointed that we were unable to recognize your room / bed type preference upon making reservation. Allow me to explain that we do keep our guest stay history and preference. However, the room / bed type preference may change depending on the occasions. For instance, should the guest come alone or with partner, he / she may prefer a King bed room. On the other hand, if he / she comes with the family, a two queen beds room may be preferred. Hence, to ensure that we have the accurate information, our reservation department / Grande Club office has to reconfirm with the guest of his / her room / bed type requirement.
I am sorry to learn that we were unable to arrange for you a non-smoking room upon your arrival in spite of the advanced reservation. I do apologize for your disappointment and inconvenience. However, we would much appreciate if you could kindly provide us more information of your period of stay and we will further investigate this to avoid reoccurrence in the future.
We do hope that in spite of the incidents, we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future so that we are able to remedy the poor impression created on this occasion.
