Thank you very much for taking the time to share with us the experience of your stay.

We must unreservedly apologize for the grave lack of courtesy and lack of hospitality provided by one of our team member at our Horizon Club and it is really with deep regret that I learn of your recent experience at the Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai. I have investigated the points you have raised and must admit that we did not deliver the service that you require and you are certainly entitled to expect. I have spoken with the Department Heads concerned and have instructed them to take immediate remedial action to prevent any reoccurrence of this nature. I very much appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention.

With regards to the noise disturbance from the neighbors constructionbuilding, unfortunately it is correct that being at the pool there is at times construction noise to various degrees. The building has grown already to the 9/F and the worst is behind us. Indeed, we are unable to control the surrounding noise and deeply regret if the atmosphere is not what you expected. While being inside the hotel there is no noise disturbance, construction work stops around 6 to 7pm. We are in constant communication with the construction side to ensure their working hours are kept within daytime.

Constructive criticism, such as yours, goes a long way towards making us a better hotel.
