หลังจากตอบตกลงที่จะมาเที่ยวนครวัด ในใจมีคำถามมากมายว่าจะพักที่ไหน โรงแรมจะเป็นอย่างไร ปลอดภัยหรือไม่ และอีกหลายคำถามในใจ แต่เมื่อรู้ว่าจะได้พักที่โรงแรมเลอ เมอริเดียน อังกอร์ ก็รู้สึกคลายกังวลขึ้นบ้าง เพราะเป็นโรงแรม 5 ดาว และมีเจ้าของเป็นคนไทย อย่างไรก็ตามก็แอบคิดใจว่าโรงแรมจะดีอย่างที่คาดหวังหรือไม่
เมื่อไปถึงโรงแรม เราได้รับการต้อนรับดีมาก ที่นี่มีพนักงานเป็นคนไทยด้วยหลายคน คอยให้คำแนะนำอย่างดีกับเราทั้งเรื่องการเที่ยวที่นครวัด หรือแม้กระทั่งในเสียมเรียบเอง บริเวณโรงแรมกว้างใหญ่มาก เขียวชอุ่ม สดชื่น มันช่างแตกต่างจากบรรยากาศที่ดูแห้งแล้งของเมืองเสียมเรียบเสียจริงๆ จนดูเหมือนกับว่าที่นี่เป็นโอเอซิสของเสียมเรียบอย่างไรอย่างนั้น
ห้องที่ผมพักอยู่บนชั้นสอง สะอาด กว้างขวาง เตียงนอนขนาดใหญ่นอนสบายมาก ข้าวของเครื่องใช้ในห้องครบครัน ตะกร้าผลไม้ถูกเตรียมไว้พร้อม
อากาศที่เสียมเรียบในเดือนมีนาคมร้อนมากๆ โชคดีที่เราเลือกพักที่โรงแรมนี้ เพราะเป็นโรงแรมห้าดาวที่อยู่ใกล้กับนครวัดที่สุด คณะของเราเลือกใช้บริการทัวร์ของโรงแรม และก็คิดไม่ผิดเลย เพราะหลังจากเที่ยวนครวัดเสร็จ ก็สามารถกลับมาที่โรงแรมเพื่อทานอาหารกลางวัน มาชาร์จพลัง เอาแรงเที่ยวต่อในช่วงบ่ายได้สบาย คุณแซม เป็นไกด์ที่ยอดเยี่ยมมาก พูดไทยและอังกฤษได้ และรู้ละเอียดในทุกแง่ทุกมุมของทุกปราสาทในเสียมเรียบ ทั้งนครวัด นครธม ตาพรหม หรือบัณฑายสี
อาหารเช้าของโรงแรมอร่อยมาก โดยเฉพาะครัวซองอันเลื่องชื่อ อาหารตามสั่งของโรงแรมก็อร่อยมากเช่นกัน ที่นี่มีร้านอาหารอิตาเลียนด้วย ตอนกลางคืนอย่าลืมแวะมาที่เล้าจน์ บรรยากาศดีมาก
****อย่าลืมสั่งเมนูปลาที่ส่งตรงมาจากทะเลสาบโตนเล สดอร่อยมากจริงๆ
สรุปว่าประทับใจกับโรงแรมนี้มากๆ อาหารอร่อย ใกล้นครวัดมาก ใกล้สนามบินมาก พนักงานต้อนรับดีมาก ทัวร์ดีมากไม่แพงอย่างที่คิด แนะนำ!!!

Indeed, our location is the closest hotel to the temples, and is a mere eight minutes to the famous architecture of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple and the Elephant Terrace with countless sculptural decorations. And at night it is only five minutes to the vibrant Pub Street nightlife where our guests can enjoy shopping, purchasing souvenirs, or eating and drinking in the many restaurants and bars.
