ครอบครัวเราพักที่โรงแรมนี้หลายครั้งติดต่อกันมาหลายปีแล้ว โดยครั้งล่าสุดคือ เดือน มีนาคม 2558 เราพักที่นี่เป็นเวลา 3 คืน เราพบว่าโรงแรมยังคงรักษามาตรฐานการบริการและมาตรฐานของโรงแรมไว้ได้เป็นอย่างดี
เริ่มจากพนักงานต้อนรับ ที่ทำหน้าที่ได้อย่างมืออาชีพ ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส กระตือรือล้นในการบริการ การเช็คอินเป็นไปอย่างรวดเร็ว ส่วนเจ้าหน้าที่ในด้านอื่นๆก็ทำหน้าที่ได้ดีไม่แพ้กัน
บริเวณของโรงแรมโดยรอบ ก็ยังคงได้รับการดูแลเอาใจใส่เป็นอย่างดี โรงแรมมีสวนสวย ต้นไม้เยอะมาก แต่ก็ยังคงสะอาด แทบจะไม่เห็นเศษใบไม้หล่นตามพื้นเลยทีเดียว
ห้องพักสวยงาม สะอาด ขนาดกำลังพอดี มีวิวสวนสวยๆหรือวิวทะเลให้ชมที่ระเบียง ต้องบอกว่าแม่บ้านที่นี่ ทำความสะอาดได้ดีมาก เราไม่เห็นคราบฝุ่น หรือคราบสกปรกใดๆในห้องพักเลย เตียงนอนนุ่มสบาย หมอนหอมสะอาด มาพักที่นี่แล้วหลับสบายทุกคืน ไม่อยากตื่นเลย
สระว่ายน้ำของโรงแรมกว้างใหญ่ สวยงามมาก มีบางส่วนที่เป็นร่มเงาในสระว่ายน้ำ ทำให้ว่ายน้ำเล่นได้ทั้งวัน ไม่ต้องตากแดด เสียอย่างเดียวที่สระว่ายน้ำไม่ได้อยู่ริมทะเล ดังนั้นเมื่อเราพักผ่อนอยู่ที่บริเวณสระว่ายน้ำ ก็ไม่ได้ชมวิวทะเล หรือถ้าเราไปนอนชมวิวทะเลอยู่ที่ชายหาด เราก็ว่ายน้ำในสระไม่ได้ เราคิดว่าจะดีมากมาย ถ้ามีสระว่ายน้ำที่ซีวิวด้วย เพราะครอบครัวเรามักจะใช้เวลาส่วนใหญ่ที่สระว่ายน้ำ และลูกก็ไม่อยากขึ้นจากน้ำเลย บางทีเราอยากชมวิวทะเลหรืออาบแดดริมทะเล แต่ลูกอยากอยู่ในสระว่ายน้ำ ทำให้ต้องเลือกว่าจะอยู่ตรงไหนกันดี... แต่ก็ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหญ่อะไร บางคนอาจจะไม่สนใจในจุดนี้ก็ได้ นี่แค่ความเห็นส่วนตัวของเรา
โรงแรมมีหชายหาดส่วนตัว เป็นชายหาดที่สะอาด ปราศจากขยะ แม้ว่าทรายจะไม่ได้ขาวละเอียดน้ำทะเลจะไม่ได้เป็นสีฟ้าสดใส แต่ก็สามารถเล่นน้ำทะเลได้ ชายหาดตื้นน้ำไม่ลึก
อาหารเช้าของโรงแรมยิ่งใหญ่อลังการมาก มีอาหารหลากหลายให้เลือก ใช้วัตถุดิบดี รสชาดอร่อย มีกาแฟสดเสริฟร้อนๆ รสชาดดี เรียกได้ว่าอาหารเช้า สมกับเป็นโรงแรม 5 ดาว จริงๆ
ทำเลที่ตั้งของโรงแรม ไม่ค่อยสะดวกสำหรับคนที่ไม่มีรถ เพราะไม่สามารถเดินไปไหนได้ ถ้าออกมาหน้าโรงแรม ก็ไม่มีร้านอาหารใดๆ ไม่มีร้านสะดวกซื้อใกล้ๆ หรือถ้าจะไปตลาดไนท์มาร์เก็ต หัวหิน ก็ต้องขับรถไปเกือบครึ่งชั่วโมง แต่ถ้ามีรถขับ ก็ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหญ่อะไร
ในความคิดเห็นของเรา เราคิดว่าโรงแรมอนันตรา หัวหิน เป็นโรงแรมที่เหมาะสมกับโรงแรม
5 ดาวอย่างแท้จริง และเราจะกลับไปอีกเร็วๆนี้
