Thank you for taking time to review Charlie's Bungalows, however I do believe your review is a little harsh.

We have LG 19 inch LCD TV's, which when we opened for business, cost 6,000 Baht each. At that time we could have bought traditional black box TV's with the same size screen for a lot less but we decided to spend a bit more and go for the LCD wall mounted televisions.

Regarding the satellite. We have free-to-air satellite because standard TV reception is very poor on Koh Sichang. We have approximately 50 TV channels most of which are Thai but we also have some Indian channels, a Russian channel, an English news channel and about 3 or 4 Christian channels (please note we do not have 50 Christian channels !)

Most of our customers are Thai so they are quite happy to watch the 30+ Thai channels.

For Europeans who want to sit in and watch TV (not many) we offer a DVD player and 3 movies for 100 Baht which I think is quite reasonable.

Charlie's Bungalows is not a big hotel with a dedicated reception manned 24 hours a day and it does not have international TV showing the latest blockbusters and TV channels from home. Charlie's Bungalows is simple but spotlessly clean bungalow accommodation on a little island off the beaten track. Prices are competitive compared to alternative Koh Sichang accommodation and I truly believe you can not get a cleaner, safer, more comfortable place to stay on the Island.
